Now faith is being sure of what we hope for, being convinced of what we do not see. 2 For by it the people of old received God’s commendation. 3 By faith we understand that the worlds were set in order at God’s command, so that the visible has its origin in the invisible. --Hebrews 11:1-3
The ka-nanayans and ka-tatayans gathered to reflect on Pastor Charizz's preaching about God's commendation compared to the world's praise. Everyone had their own take on the Word of God. The armor given by the Lord to each one was also discussed, so that we can face our daily battles against the real enemy. And the real enemy, according to the Word of God, is in the spiritual realm, and that is the evil spirits waiting for an opportunity to take us away from the Lord. Some members have shared their experiences about wanting praise from people in this world before, compared to what they seek now after having a proper relationship with the Lord.
Each one also discussed the preparations for the upcoming anniversary of the worship center They talked about and finalized the food to be prepared, as well as each committee's roles. Talking about what needs to be done is important to everyone because they dedicate their success to the Lord.
